Farm Camp Manager: We seek an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about working with kids and who enjoys being outdoors in a farm setting to serve as Manager for our Summer Farm Camp. The Manager will be primarily responsible for managing the operations of the Farm Camp program and will superve a small team of Farm Camp Counselors during five, one-week sessions at our working farm on the grounds of Woodlawn, a National Trust Historic Site, in Alexandria,

Market Manager (Hourly Rate, 30-35 hours/week, May-October 2020): Arcadia is hiring three Mobile Market Managers for the 2020 season. The Market Managers are the captains of Mobile Market sites, embodying the intentions of the program and setting the tone for the market space. Managers are encouraged to bring their strengths to market, supporting them as community gathering spaces for accessing local farm fresh food, learning, sharing and relationship-building.

Two Market Managers will lead 3 markets per week, and one Market Manager will lead 4 markets per week. Market Managers will oversee program implementation from market preparation to market operation, from personnel management to recordkeeping. Market Associate (Hourly Rate, 30-35 hours/week, May-October 2020): Arcadia is hiring multiple Market Associates for the 2020 season, with full-time and part-time options available. The Market Associates work under the guidance and direction of the Mobile Market management team to operate weekly markets across Washington, DC. Markets run Tuesday - Saturday, from mid-May through the end of October.  Priority will be given to candidates able to commit to 30-35 hours per week. Operations Team Member (Hourly Rate, 20-30 hours/week, May-October 2020): Operations Team Members will work closely with Arcadia’s Mobile Market Operations Manager to process incoming deliveries, manage inventory at headquarters, and load out all items for daily markets. Operations Team Members may also be responsible for weekly sourcing runs to pick up produce from Arcadia’s Farm in Alexandria, VA. Outreach Team Member (Volunteer position with incentives): Arcadia is seeking multiple Outreach Team volunteers for the 2020 season. The Outreach Team will work under the guidance of the Mobile Market Director to deepen and grow relationships with Arcadia’s Mobile Market stakeholders across Washington, DC. Outreach Team members will work independently across DC and gather once per month as a team at the Mobile Market Headquarters based in Northeast DC, 1 mile east of the Brookland Metro.  Click HERE to view the full job description and applications instructions.
